blood effects?
I''m trying to figure out a way to make the "blood-splatter" effects in my game look good. I''ve thought of either simply blit pixels for some kind of a "fountain-effect" or draw some bitmaps that I then animate.. But I want something better looking!! Any suggestions? I''m programing in DirectX with 256 colors.. Some kind of particle-effect-thing maybe?
