Well, I''ve written a little DMusic wrapper that works quite nicely (in fact, I plugged it into a little freeware MIDI player thing that you can find at either www.knightsvalorous.com or www.myopicrhino.com). Obviously I don''t have the source here at work with me, and I''m not going to just give you my source, but I''m willing to help you iron out the problems you''re having. If you want to talk to me directly, I''m in #gamedev pretty much every night or you could icq me. Another thing you might want to look at is the latest LaMothe book (Tricks of the Windows Game Programming Gurus) which has some very useful information about how to set up DMusic for simple MIDI playing, though it doesn''t get indepth about the cool stuff you can do.
