Finaly ! I found it... pfff.. I was goin'' nuts !

It was indeed the locking that killed my debug (screen) output.
An ASSERTion failure occured somewhere, and I didn''t see it because of the locking.
After resolving the problem everything was ok !

PS. Just for your information : DDLOCK_NOSYSLOCK néver works for primary surfaces, it''s just ignored by DirectX
