i have read lesson 9 several times and i dont fully understand it one of the things i dont understand is how the stars move the way they do, i have tried to understand all the comments but they dont just sink in can someone plz try to explain to me why they move like that around the center? thx "Those who serve no purpose, have no purpose. Think of a record on a record player. Going from the center of the record to the outside edge, is a line of stars. Now when you spin the record (glRotate), they all move at the same rate in a circle. Next add in a different speed for each star... the ones on the outside move a little bit faster, and the ones in the center move a little slower... Eventually the stars on the outer edge will pass the ones in the center, and cause a bend in the line all the way back to the middle.
