I''ve finally thought of a name for my game, what I''m not sure about is whether it will be OK to use, I''ve never heard of a game with the same name but one might exist. I am planning on selling my game will it be OK with copyrights even if a game of the same name exists. The name is Final Flame if it helps Thanks

The easiest way is simply to search the web and the newsgroups at www.deja.com. If nothing shows up there, it''ll probably be ok.

I had a similar problems when I tried to come up with a name for my company. However, in this case it''s a little bit easier, because if no domainnames are taken with the name you can almost asume it''s unused. Also, in Sweden the government (or rather PRV, Patent och Registreringsverket) has to approve your name first. (In my case, the name is CodeTouch.)
