What should I do first, read the tuts or the Blue/Red books?

Personally, I would recommend you to read the tutorials.. Or, if you cant programming in the first place, get your hands on some kind of C/C++ programming book. "teach yourself c++ in 21 days" is a nice one, which you can also get as documents and read them on your pc.
