Yep, that''s exactly what it is. However, it''s only supported for 3dfx cards, so it doesn''t have quite the same user base. There''s a good set of tutorials here:

I''m currently learning Glide myself. It seems much easier to use than D3D or OpenGL. Shame it''s good for 3dfx cards only. Anybody know if there is any possibility drivers could be written so Glide would work on other cards?
