Hi! I am making a chess game in VB using alpha-beta algorithms. Who can tell me how can I draw the elements of chess. Thanks
Well, you''ve got the hard part down. Just run a search for BitBlt() and I''m sure you''ll find what you need. If not, just post again here.

Excelent.
I plan to have a 3D rendered OpenGL engine running up
to March 1st, capable of drawing the chess figures.
If you can come up with the AI, we will team up and do the game.
I already have a 3D low-poly-count modeler in the team, and
a direct-x experienced programmer for the menus.

What do you say?
Also, can you direct me to chess AI tutorials?

Thank you, TeranFury.
I did as you said and seems I get the answer.
Thanks petium3id. But I am sorry because my ability isn''t good enough (I hope I will be better in the future).
By the way: What does AI means?
AI: artificial intelligence

Chess AI tuts? No problemo! It just so happens that my buddy Francois Dominic Laramee created a Chess series a while back, you should be able to extract the needed info.
