I've just a thread closed for saying “as player freedom is why we buy Open World games, it's frustrating when we don't have the freedom to complete the missions how we'd imagine! And the useless rewards we often receive in many Open World games are useless! Id like to see more effort being put in to fix these issues in future games!”…….

…..so Im just wondering what do you guys want to see in future Open World games (besides twerking)!?

For me, a good open world needs meaningful choices and a world that reacts to what you do.

Cheers for the reply!

What games would you say do these things best? and how?

And how would rank GTA in this regard?

I'd rank GTA high for world-building but lower for meaningful choices and mission freedom.

@undefined You got any examples man? I really like those things but besides BOTW and MGSV it's hard for me to think of anything else that impresses me!

GTA is obviously about the worst when it comes it!
