Position: Database & Backend / Full-Stack Developer

Overview:

We've developed a streamlined process that seamlessly integrates custom 3D characters into Unreal Engine 5, making them fully compatible with multiplayer environments. This allows players to bring their own unique skins into the game, fully visible to other players.

To make custom characters accessible to everyone, we're creating a web service where players can easily upload a 2D image to get a fully functional in-game character, thanks to our code and AI partnerships (no AI development needed on your part). With a successful Proof of Concept, it’s time to automate—and that’s where you come in!

Key Responsibilities (we'll plan it out together):

- Set up efficient player data storage and retrieval
- Enable third-party account linking (Epic Games, Steam, consoles)
- Manage player inventory and assets
- Integrate 2D-to-3D character creation with partners
- Build APIs for syncing data across database, game client, and website
- Ensure secure, scalable systems for multiplayer
- Design account structure and upload process with support

Skills Needed:

- Expertise in database/backend development for gaming or high-traffic apps
- Proficient in REST APIs and third-party logins (Epic Games, Steam)
- Familiar with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Strong knowledge of secure user data handling
- Unreal Engine or gaming API experience is a plus

Payment: Rev-Share.
