This is a side project I did just for fun and wanted to share for feedback and inspiration. I used Fiverr (a site that I've been involved with as a remote recording musician since 2014) and hired a live classical guitarist, bassist, drummer, cellist and violinist to help bring this piece to life. I also worked with a guitar buddy of mine who's not on Fiverr.
This wouldn't work for most type of games but perhaps an ambient puzzle type of game. Or perhaps a very specific narrative game. Anyhoo - I wanted to expand my palette some because so often I get limited to loops or time constraints when working on games.
Have you done similar side tasks? It's nice to stretch your musical ideas out a bit more and not be so limited. I realize, BTW, that RPGs and such allow for this often but sometimes budget or even data footprint size can be a major factor.
I hope you enjoy it!
Thanks,
Nate
