Graphics Engine for embedded development with Vulkan

Greetings,

for a commercial product I seek to port the graphics subsystem from OpenGLES to Vulkan. It has been considered to use an external engine that supports Vulkan and OpenGLES and makes the transition as easy as possible. The target platform is an embedded Linux system with a PowerVR, Qualcomm or Mali chip.

One engine that is currently on the table is the DIligentEngine:

Has anyone worked with this and can tell me if it has shortcomings? Or can recommend something better?
