I finally went ahead and downloaded Starcraft 2. The graphics are pretty but the game lacks deep. If Im asked you have a Warcraft 3 with shaders.

TBH I didn't even like the graphics, was too bloomy/comicy similar to Diablo 3 compared to Diablo 2, although not as stark of a contrast. Luckily Diablo 4 will go back to the distinct Diablo style. Hopefully the same will be true for Starcraft 3, should it ever become a reality..

How many units does a Starcraft game have on a map with 8 players? If all units are marines (buildings not counted) I count 1600 (8*200)?

Two zerglings count as one supply, so 3200 (400*8) ?

Zerglings have less polygons no effects on attack etc. so they`re lite on cpu load

They still cost quite a bit while pathfinding, though. Running 3,200 zerglings through a chokepoint on the map is quite the technical feat.
