To all of those who are looking for a place to start with game development and how scalable backends can be achieved, please have a look at https://github.com/game-arch/mmo-arch. This is my hobby project that has gotten a tiny bit of attention lately and I was wanting to see if any others would be willing to look at and be inspired by our efforts so far. We are in the midst of fleshing out the backend and frontend architecture for an MMO environment and any eyes and/or hands are appreciated.

I hope that this project can lead to many amazing games in the future.

There is also a slack organization in place for those willing to lend a hand.

Thank you!

How about you move the discussion to the gamedev.net forums?

You're much more likely to find more eyes for the discussion here, than on the Github project page …
