Visual Basic/C++ Quake Stuff
I am fairly new to DX7 and need a Quake MAP (Not BSP) Viewer. If someone can send me a copy then I would be very happy! So far I can get my program to read MAP files, but I think you need to index the verticies or create new ones. I tried to decode at the vertex format, but it was too cryptic. If someone can explain how QBSP works then that would be nice too. I do know a little C++, but QBSP is very confusing.
Also, I have created an inefficent way of detecting collisions(Somewhere in a post),but there must be a better way. If someone can help me please do.
