(Request) Sources for best practices - retopology for games?

More or less what it says on the tin.

I don't find much material about tips, tricks and good practices when doing retopo for games and such.

Things like best vertex positioning on joints, when you should accept or use tris instead of quads, steps to alter the edge flow correctly

 

Tips about weight paint and rigging low poly chars are a good bonus

beginner hobbyist 3d modeler, learning the rest at a snail's pace.
