True, and I''m not gonna translate the computer-jargon, I don''t need to, since it''s mostly the same in Dutch as in English. What I''m gonna translate is the whole explanation of how the whole thing works. It might be that Dutch people still need some understanding of English in order to program (OpenGL) anyway, but at least the tutors will be easier to read in our native language.

But right now, I think either NeHe has had so many posts, he just couldn''t pick mine out of them, or he''s busy with the whole thing about his mom, that he doesn''t answer e-mails at all right now, which of course is understandable. Can''t blame the guy, but I won''t start my translation without his permission. I don''t think he wouldn''t let me, but I just want to be polite...

NeHe_Lover seems to be online, and since she seems to know NeHe very well , I thought maybe she could tell NeHe that I''m willing to make a translation. So I renewed this topic a bit.

hm....I can''t read dutch, so maybe this was already mentioned , but couldn''t you just translate to dutch, and give the translated pages to NeHe? If I had to take a wild guess, I would think he would be happy to host them. Plus, they would help more people that way. That''s just my $.02, though.

That might be a good idea, but right now, NeHe doesn''t even respond to my question if I even may translate the pages. (tried already 2 times). I''m afraid that he''ll miss my mailings with the translated pages too. And I don''t want to mail-bomb him with requests. For now, I''ll keep this topic active, and send 1 more e-mail, since he said he lost his mails in the last news.

This is sorta like the great writers who get''s all their work translated into other languages!

I wouldn''t expect to hear from NeHe for a while yet, given the tragedy that has just befallen him. You might contact NeHe_Lover in the meantime. For what it''s worth - I would think that he would be agreeable to your translation ideas - so whatever work you''ve put into the project so far probably won''t go to waste.

Oh well, I''ll get started with the translations anyway. I won''t publish ''em online yet, I''ll do that as soon as I''ll get a confirmation that I may from NeHe (I''d find it rather strange if I wouldn''t get one, but I won''t pubish without NeHe''s official agreement).
