I now remember why I stopped reading these forums. THEY ARE FILLED WITH F*CKING MORONS THAT ACT LIKE TWELVE YEAR OLDS. THEY ARE PROBABLY THE SAME PEOPLE THAT CHEAT AT CS AND LIVE AT HOME IN THE ROOMS ALONE AND ARE TOTAL LOSERS. The only way they can make themselves feel good is to try and ruin things for other people. Thanks god for the fact that most people that are in the CS department here that are morons like these are well within punching range. Maybe NeHe should create a Paying section and allow only those people to vote.

Charge people $15 dollars to register.

Anyone who is willing to spend money to register will be intelligent enough to post intelligent messages.

Any post by an annymous poster that says "vs." , "versus" , "vs" , or "v/s" will not show up on threads.

People who disobey the forum facts will get a warning, and then will be banned.

If there isn't a prize other than the respect of their peers, people, or atleast one person, will still try hard to make a great demo for the next one.

Maybe something like Christmas zipped to ~200k
or it could even be less to make people try stuff without using big premade textures.

Make one forum called "Free Usage" or something. And when people who are registered find a logical post there, we can answer it.

i''m extremely busy right now so i didn''t enter. if i have time, i would enter the next one, even if there isn''t gonna be a prize. winning something material is nice, but having the feeling that others like my creation is even better.

I''m so freaking pissed off. I spent hours on my bloody entry, and some moron makes NeHe take off the polls. It''s really sad. I dont think NeHe needs to see stuff like this. I really like this site, and I''ve learnt a lot of cool stuff from this site.
Me and all the other contestants are ready to give away source code that we''ve worked really hard on.
It''s really strange to think there could be guys that just want to cheat.
I just hope NeHe doesnt take contest off his site altogether. Even if there are no prizes, I''d still compete.

How about letting people vote for their favorite, but say that the judges will have the final decision. That way, if cheating is suspected, the judges can just choose who they want and ignore the vote.
