How to make 8-bit sprites out of 16 or 32-bit ones?

Greetings everyone, i am new around here. I came here to see if anyone could help me with making sprites, a full sprite sheet, etc. As the title says, i want to be able to make 8-bit sprites from existing sprites, but are either 16 or 32-bit. Take for example these two images: https://imgur.com/a/zfutT How do i "convert" or re-create them in 8-bit?
