OpenGL & 3DMax Question
Hi People,
As most of you probably know there is a utility that comes with the DirectX 7 SDK called 3dsconv. Is anyone aware of such a utility for OpenGL? I''ve worked with models in Direct3D before but never in OpenGL. Anyone have any clue whatsoever as to a possible solution?
Thanks!

OpenGL doesn''t specify any 3d file formats that I know of. So, there really isn''t much point behind a converter.

Bassicly you have to write your own file loaders and you won file format
Hardcore Until The End.
Ok ok, good point
I really worded the question wrong on all sides, heh.
But then, I''m completly not understanding the way OpenGL works then. If you have character models lets say then how do you incorporate them in a game? I mean Quake did it, but then again Carmack coded Quake so thats no good to me, heheh.
Oh boy...
Any ideas?
