My friends and I have been playing Hedgewars on the PC recently and it has proven rather good. Does anyone else have some recommendations for local, 2player+ PC games? Thanks. :)
Can anyone recommend some 2 player PC games

You'll probably have the best chances in the indie sector, the art of local multi player seems to have been forgotten.
Hideous spam: I've made HitBlock, a arcady puzzle game, which also has a two player mode (coop and versus) - http://www.georg-rottensteiner.de/
Fruny: Ftagn! Ia! Ia! std::time_put_byname! Mglui naflftagn std::codecvt eY'ha-nthlei!,char,mbstate_t>
. 22 Racing Series .
Tiny brains - puzzle lots of fun, Highly recommend!
F1 Race Start - a kart game, I like it
Nidhogg - 1v1 PvP lots of fun!
Lara Croft guardian of light - Puzzle. I do not like the series but that game was good.
The Binding of Isaac:Antibirth (mod, in the original isaac the multiplayer is a bit lacking)
Vagante (You can only revive in multiplayer, so that makes the game completely different)
As you didn't specify, what type of game you would like, here is a steam search for shared/split screen games: http://store.steampowered.com/search/?category3=24
Thanks for the suggestions - Seems there are several very promising games to while away the evenings. :)
If you're into console-style titles, here are some recommendations:
-"Shank" (beat-em-up) has a 2P mode, but I've never tried it. There's also a sequel, "Shank 2," which I haven't played yet.
-"Kyurinaga's Revenge" (platformer) is on my wishlist.
-"ZHEROS" (beat-em-up) is on my wishlist
-"Gatling Gears" (shoot-em-up) has a 2P mode, but I've never tried it.
-"Rayman Legends" (platformer)
PC also now has Playstation Now, so there's a bunch more games than I can count.
EDIT: Added genres, etc.
