Looking for Assistance on a Project

I want to recreate an offline version with TAS capabilities of an old game called Async Racing.

The SWF I'm using is located on: http://chat.kongregate.com/gamez/0007/8646/live/AsyncRacing.swf

The problem is, I don't understand how some of the physics work and how to search for/implement some in my version. I would like to add TAS features to it also such as savestates, frame advance, re-recording, key macros, slow motion. Read here: http://tasvideos.org/EmulatorResources/Features.html
