What's more interesting is that the physics are the heaviest part, skinning is the second (I lie, postprocessing is the second).
Now I should give an explanation. This is NEAT (the genetic algorithm). 4-10 multiplications and sigmoidal operations per brain... 10 times a second. Cheap as you can get.
