Hey guys,

Just wanted to share this with you.

After an immense number of 62 hours net play time, I've decided to stop playing Fallout 3.

During the last say 5 play hours, I've googled some locations up because I couldn't bring up the time / want to start spending it otherwise :)

It was one hell of a ride, including the DLC Broken Steel. All the possibilities, quests, crafting weapons, puzzling out new locations.

I can keep raddling about it for hours.

Did you also have this experience?

Can't wait to try out Fallout 4 somewhere in the near future.

I find it quite an achievement that the studio made a game that just keeps you sucking back in (I decided to stop earlier a few times, but couldn't :))

I've played fallout 3 for... Much longer than 62 hours. Mods extend it's content/fun exponentially.

106 Hours in Fallout 3

148 in Fallout New Vegas

96 (currently, still 'not far' in) in Fallout 4

Brilliant franchise.

Tale of two wastelands. Puts all FO3 content in New vegas and lets you travel between the games, so you can play both seamlessly.

I usually don’t see such a low number of hours by anyone in any game when looking on Steam. That’s less than 3 days. It’s literally the average play-through-time for Final Fantasy VII. That’s 2 weeks at most, if you are so busy you can only play on weekends. Chuck Norris put 62 hours into Fallout 3 in 30 seconds.

I put 775 hours into Monday Night Combat, and over 2,500 hours into Starsiege: Tribes, so I am really surprised at what you consider “immense”.

Never played any of the Fallout games. Heard a bit about the new one. Fallout 4 or something? I only heard about it because it was in the news thanks to Pornhub.

I put much more than 62 hours into my first playthrough of fallout 3.

It is my all time second favourite action RPG after fallout New Vegas.

Haven't got hold of fallout 4 yet because I know if I do I'd get the pc version, and that would mean massive distraction from making my game.

Maybe in a few months...

Depending on situations going on in life, 62 hours can be alot or a little.

I spent over 350 hours (on my main char) in Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, and that didn't feel excessive. That was when I was ~13

I recently spent about 45 hours in Etrian Oddysey 4, and that was way too much for me. I felt exhausted by the end of it.

I put 61 hours into Prison Architect though, and can could easily double that if I let myself.

Last year I put 150 hours into Dungeon Defenders, though that's a coop game so it probably doesn't count.

I played fallout before it was cool laugh.png
Fallout 2 was legendary, made during the golden age of Black Isle. FO3 killed their company, so Bethesda (of Elder Scrolls fame) bought the franchise and made their of FO3 (and now FO4).
