There saying global warming is increasing sea levels. What about the volcano making a new island it's displacing water. New large ships displace water. China making a island displaces lots of water. Where losing water not the other way around. More like smog from china is blocking the heat in. Why are humans shitting in there environment what for cash. Looks like it's about to pop. No air to breath nothing wrong there hey WTF. Can some one please explain to me why.

Those things would cause the water to rise, not drop. But those things are minuscule compared to the volume of water in the oceans.

Why are humans shitting in there environment what for cash. Looks like it's about to pop. No air to breath nothing wrong there hey WTF. Can some one please explain to me why.

Your question is unclear. You need to clarify what you are saying/asking. And please try to avoid the four-letter words.

New large ships displace water.

If all the ships were removed from all the earth's oceans all at once, the sea level would change by about six microns, about the width of a strand of spider silk.

China making a island displaces lots of water.

Based on some reading, they displace about 1.5 million tons of water. While that is a lot of water if you are thinking on an individual human scale, that is barely measurable on a global ocean scale.

Polar ice cap changes are measured in millions of square kilometers changed per month. That is much more water.

More like smog from china is blocking the heat in.

Pollution from *EVERYWHERE* is blocking the heat in. And that's where the issue comes in.

The warming is melting ice caps faster than they re-freeze.

Ice and water have interesting properties. Icy areas don't convert the light to heat, it reflects back to space. Water absorbs and transforms more of the light to heat. So as ice sheets melt it causes further warming.

Why are humans shitting in there environment what for cash.
Not just money, but also for your daily conveniences.

How much electricity do you use for your computer that you wrote the post with? How much energy do you use to travel around town? How much energy does it take to grow your food? How much energy does it take to transport all the goods you consume, especially goods like food from around the globe, to your door?

For example, that banana shipped across the globe and kept in refrigeration until it arrived at your market, it took an awful lot of energy. Delicious treat and it is inexpensive, but growing it and getting it to your door caused an awful lot of pollution.

Some of it is about the money, people (and their companies) don't want to pay money for more efficient cargo ships. People (and their companies) don't want to invest in cleaner energy.

But most is about modern convenience. It is less convenient to take mass transit, bike, or walk, yet in my city tailpipe emissions make up over half of our air pollution. It is less convenient to only eat more expensive locally grown foods in season rather than foods from around the globe. It is more convenient to have lots of packaging to protect food and protect goods and equipment. It is convenient to leave your computer turned on in a low-power state all the time. It is convenient to have always-on Internet.

All these conveniences have costs. They consume resources and introduce pollution. How many conveniences are you willing to give up? How much extra are you willing to pay? Do you already pay for renewable electricity, or if that isn't available in your area, pay more to the power company for carbon-offsets? How much time are you willing to spend to give up the convenience of a personal motor vehicle? When it gets to what each person can do by themselves, it becomes more difficult to give up.

Frob some very good points. But we can't just keep living with that smog. And the dumping of chemicals in the water ways just because it costs to much to treat.
The change in tempture from space to our atmosphere is immense, today it's 43 Degrees c and space is like true zero. That's a lot of energy just there.
Plus the world it's self is a magnetic engine. Like when the space shuttle towed a copper line behind it energy to have. We are not doing much because oil and money. Near cost energy doesn't make money. So how long can they live in china with that smog level.
People grok money. Money has a well-defined numeric value that's easy to measure and compare. It's used by the vast majority of people every day, making people really good at thinking about how money works and how to strategize about its use.

People get so used to thinking about costs in terms of money that they sometimes forget that there are other kinds of costs and consequences. Pollution, habitat destruction, sea level rises - those things don't have dollar figures assigned to them.

When you buy something, you see the change in your remaining money instantly. When you pollute something, the immediate consequence may not affect you. You don't see the long-term consequences immediately. The delay between action and consequence allows you to question whether the consequence is related to the action at all. It allows people to deny responsibility for consequences of their actions.
Now my phones broken. Nothings working. Can't even read this post on it now.

Pfft, "icebergs". Now you're just making stuff up. Everyone knows the last iceberg went extinct when the Titanic crashed into it.

If all the ships were removed from all the earth's oceans all at once, the sea level would change by about six microns, about the width of a strand of spider silk.

Something that link mentions that I find interesting is the thermal expansion of water - that never occurred to me. Ice melting is a more obvious and more commonly mentioned result of increased heat, but I never thought about thermal expansion, and apparently nearly half the sea level rising is caused by that expansion.

well - the displacement of a nimitz-class aircraft carrier is 100,000 tons. that means when the carrier is sitting in water, the underwater part of the aircraft carrier takes up a volume that, if filled by water, would weigh 100,000 tons. the density of water is 62 lbs per cubic foot, so that means the carrier displaces around 3.2 million cubic feet of water, or 24 million gallons.

this is just one of them.

thermal expansion of water. you know how many underwater volcano's there are all heating up since the dawn of time.

Here in Australia we signed some thing giving to the health of the planet but no one even has an idea what the moneys going to be spent on really, they say the money could even be spent on road. So the money goes to some construction company, now were not being railroaded are we.

Dark day in deed big mamma.

Soon there will be enough particle matter in the air one could set fire to the atmosphere. Just look up sugar plant explosions for a idea of what could go on.

The whole world needs to be helping china to fix this issue. this is been like this for far to long.

May be we make a giant space straw , I would imagine that a tube(or a linear chain of nukes making the tube) going into the vacuum of space would sux the whole atmosphere out.

I should say most of the sea level rise is due to land reclaiming projects all over the world.

Again with accusations to China.

Start with yourself.

Your diet, your computer use, your housing, your transportation, your consumption, YOU are contributing to the global warming crisis.

Hey what accusations to China, they have a smogging of a time. its happening

.

Unless your incriminating the Australian media.

No you could blame me if I was a leader , we follow what the leader leads, be it industries or gov, So you can't blame the people how the way the tech gets used.

The normal scenario for leadership is to lead to victory not demise.
