How does the human brain accomplish this
What is a "luck" vs Einstein's relativity and Borg's quantum physics. Who we are?
We improvise following our feelings...even when we are doomed, we still do it... why?

Well for your example, in what way does "muscle memory" differ from "habit"?
You have mentioned learning, recycling as commonly misinterpreted as the bogus "muscle memory". I believe that one cannot reform his movement conciously to a very large extent. And yet, one can improve his particular motion, what I think can only build up on a "muscle" memory (little brain memory/experience to say as well?). The little brain receives back the muscle's flex "feeling" over time, this is in my opinion in other to help the possible need for reforming a motion to an yet unexperienced state, or to help remember a motion that the doer considers as "successfull". When doer then performs the motion again, doer will follow internal feelings of body in first place, not some conciosness like stuff, and act upon those muscle feelings to reflect agains them, unconcious too.
So I am referring about this muscle responses towards little brain, and that they are in my opnion vital for actor to perform and control his motion. For example, if you would have paralyzed only responsive flex nerves of your body, but not the issuing nerves and no other nerves as well, you would be unable to even walk a few steps without falling, this very points toward some "muscle memory" experience that you need for any movement to be done without wastefull attention to control it. We remember what we see or hear, but we remember other senses too, though in a less extent (smell/touch/feel).
