Hello,I want to make a program made for musicisans like myself i have been playing for about 15 years and would really like to make a program dedicated to other musicians beginner or Advance.I have a few ideas as far as the layout and such but i was wondering where i should start.I looked at this site and found things but i don''t really know where to start because there is always 50 diffrent topics and i don''t know where to start studying lol anyway if you can recommend any websites or books to buy that would be a great help. This doesn''t really answer your question, but have you checked out the tracker scene? It''s quite big, and there''s plenty of programs you can use, my favorite is MOD Plug.

Yeah I liked the excellent Fasttracker II by the demogroup Triton (who also have created some extremely cool demos!) a lot.

Their site used to be somewhere here but now it seems deserted (or it just won''t load)
