Thanks for the references, Graelig. I'll keep a look out for 3D modelling books (though I can't afford many of them at the moment, haha). Maya/Zbrush tutorials seem to appear more frequently on YouTube, but I guess the same concepts would apply across the board in every software.

This screenshot is from my prototype 2d (yes, 2d) space shooter game, Space Project: Quagmire. I rendered and composed spritesheets from 3D models created in Blender.
This render is from my attempt to make food in Blender. Of course, I had to make onigiri.
This render isn't my first character in Blender, but it's the best one I've done so far. I followed a tutorial from my brother's Blender book.
