iPad Air 2 is pretty good
These days, iPads are as powerful as most laptops, and slower desktops. According to an Anandtech article, I believe the iPad Air 2 has 256 shaders. And according to benchmarks, the CPU is almost like a Core i3, possibly even a Core i5 in some circumstances. This power leads to me being able to make games with abundant amounts of particles in Gamepress.
So yeah, I bought an iPad Air 2...
I remember playing Infinity Blade 2 on my iPad 1...
Quite impressive they managed to get those kinds of graphics onto an old iPad.
If so, I might have to take a look just out of curiosity... :)

Glad to see a post about Gamepress. I am heavy into it at the moment. I didn't expect the mention in this post though. I would like to get the iPad Air 2 (currently using the iPad2), for the sure speed of it.
Gamepress is awesome.

Can I target android, windows and Linux with gamepress?
If so, I might have to take a look just out of curiosity...
They don't plan on releasing to android yet. They are using the iPad as proof of concept right now. If Gamepress catches on they will have more incentive to release on other platforms. For now they are fixing serious bugs and making minor additions.
Gamepress development is stoping, but download Hyperpad, as it will be taking the place of Gamepress. All code can be compiled in Xcode for release on the App store as well.

If you want something more powerful, there is another app called Codea
The next version of Pythonista has updates for the Scene module (which allows you to make games using Python). I am excited for it myself. I like Codea as well. But I can get games up and running in a matter of minutes with Gamepress. It's a game changer!

When I purchased Ipad 3, Microsoft still not released office for ipad. And due to other stuff, (including direct file transfer) I sold it later.
My next tablet would be Surface 3. I need an e-reader, lightweight pc, yet able to use my desktop app whenever i need it.
I kind of like ipad, and the app that follow the UI is cool to use (finance app, todo app, etc), and back then the retina screen make reading ebook an enjoyable experience. but no usb, no extra storage support, no Office file support (i tried all kind of office app, but formatting is heck).
