I just registered for the GDC Expo Pass and I am quite excited! However, this being my first time, I was wondering if people who have gone can answer a few questions.

* Not sure which days I should book my flight to SF for since I'm thinking of staying just 2 (I figure I can cover the expo in a day or two). I'd be interested in the HappyHours/After parties but they aren't listed on the site yet. Any idea if Wed/Thur would be better or Thur/Fri for that?

* Any idea when the Conference times will be announced (a few are available to Expo Pass)?

* Is there anything else day-specific I should be aware of? All the other stuff (megabooth, gdc play, lounges etc.) seems to happen every day.

* Any other useful tips (except for the usual bring cards, do lots of networking, have a great time stuff)?

* Who else is going to the GDC from here?

FYI I am not looking to get hired (already working on my own indie game), but would love to network, check out some cool games, meet some fellow devs, maybe pickup some cards for potential artists I could hire later etc.
