Okay I can block out the black background of my images in different projects that I do, but in one of my programs I do the same exact thing (I copy and paste), but the black isn''t filtered out! Am I even using the right command? g_pLogoSurface->SetColorKey( 0 ) That works on other projects but not this one project I am doing... why?

Well uhm I use delphi myself, but I think the problem is similar. You aren''t really ''blocking'' black, you''re just making the image transparent by NOT showing black. I''ve had this problem too. Are you sure that the entire background is the same black color?

I''m pretty sure the whole entire background is the same black color. What might be wrong is that my black color might not be 0, maybe it is 1 or 2? I don''t know though =(
