My Specs:

Phenom black edition 3.6 ghz

gtx 285 FTW(and yes it still works,it can even play games on max settings)

8gb ram

Now,I've been playing la noire. The cpu was aroung 55 degree celsius, and the gpu 74 I think.

Every 2-3-4 minutes, an artifact appears.

The thing is,the game doesn't even lag,the fps is high, and the temps, dont appear to be that high either. What could be the problem?

For example,I had artifacts in tomb raider, but only when the gpu reached 80 degrees, but here, with 74?!

What kind of artifacts are we talking about here?

Flickering?

Are you overclocking? If so, do the artefacts go away if you stop overclocking?

Direct3D has need of instancing, but we do not. We have plenty of glVertexAttrib calls.

no overclocking whatsoever.

No,there's no flickering, just some big black triangles cover parts of the screen(sometimes big, sometimes smaller)
