Check this out.. my programming students were on a local news TV channel today for a game that celebrates a school rivalry. What was cool as a high school project was that they were forced out of necessity to create a networked version of the game that syncs game state back and forth between clients over a LAN. The whole thing was our attempt to promote computer science as a subject at the high school and it seems to have attracted some local media attention (3 newspapers and a local TV station) For me, I'm just trying to get more kids to sign up for programming classes.

Congrats!

The "real life rivalry" at the end of the story is funny, as though programmers are not really alive or something.

Nice! Clever use of multiple monitors to display the entire field.

We had rules against facial hair when I was in high school.
