A page for uploading?

I fear many people wont try my contest game, because I had to split it up into a many-file-zip. People nowadays will have forgot since a loooooong time how to unpack those, because they dont have to deal with the 1.44MB limit anymore.

Can anyone recommend a good page for uploading? I knew one but its disfunctional now.sad.png

I know there is thousands, but often with annoying ads, useless delays on downloading, hidden tiny button after 3 pages where you have to avoid clicking some ad you dont want, file getting deleted randomly in a week or who-knows-when instead of providing a pw for the uploader to delete it when he likes and many more annoying things.

Maybe DropBox?

How big is your game, and why did you have to split into multiple archives?

google drive is my goto file sharing service.
Check out https://www.facebook.com/LiquidGames for some great games made by me on the Playstation Mobile market.

I'd suggest a DropBox, SkyDrive, or Google Drive or some other online service like that.

Maybe it's just me (I don't read up or pay attention to how DropBox is doing things now) but DropBox has continued to keep giving me free storage. It's pretty easy to get a link to the file so you can give it to people.

Its tiny, but the gamedev forum only allows 2MB and I thought the faster I put it there the earlier someone looks at it.wink.png

I'll have a look at the suggestions after searching the URLs. If you know some more/better, I'm still open to suggestions.

Edit: I just signed up for dropbox. It looked nice at first, then I got a little wary when I clicked the link at the bottom to https://www.dropbox.com/about and it freezed Firefox.

On 3rd try it loaded after like a whole minute and I saw that huge page of photographs that I didnt expect.

Now on to take the tour and check all features, after that I'll put up my game in the way I intended from start. smile.png
