Who came up with the "HTML with Variables" and "MMOHockey" memes? Those were classic, lol.

These both originated in the IRC channel, I think. vipejc was the MMO hockey guy, maybe? I was there when it originally happened, I had a log file saved somewhere but damned if I can find it. Both Warsong and Pirate Lord were serious disasters too, we don't tend to see people that persistent nowadays. Or we're more aggressive on the moderation side, not sure.

As for the old TA driven lounge, I dunno. It was certainly wacky fun but it could get tiresome. Plus I didn't get along too well with those guys.

As long as we're having a nostalgia fest, I'll toss the name Landfish out there. ^_^

I've been around since then, and a bit longer. I guess I'm old-school around here, but not the oldest of the old. Just a few more old-timers need to die of old age and/or sedentary lifestyle before I can claim that honor though, so there's that to look forward to

I went by ravyne2001 for a period after the great hackening, then at some point convinced a mod to merge my account history -- got to keep my posts all together, but lost a fair bit of reputation in the process, no matter though.
