After all my trouble I finaly got Xfree86 4.1 installed..Kinda Linux will finaly recognize my ATI Radeon card and let me into X. Its not like I remember though. It''s a land where the ASCII window is king. I''m geting an error about XFS could not exeicute binary. I can get some things to run and they look the same but something is very wrong. Well Its more than I had 24hrs ago so makin headway. Even got the Quake3 demo to run for the first time At a cool 1 fame every 10 seconds. THATS RIGHT 1frame every 10sec. Wine is simi fuctional as well. Maby I downloaded the wrong version again. Can''t figure out wich one so I keep guessing. This one worked with a little help the other did not. If something went the way it was suposed to the I must not have been involved. Its always harder when i''m involved. Im happier than I was yesterday. Thats something I guess.
