I saw the video yesterday and its an interesting idea. If it works for more than just a demo it could make modeling easier.

Though it could probably be more reliable when including pictures from the backside of objects if available.

It probably mirrors the front texture for the back. They never turn the object all the way around in the video, but that's what it looks like.

It IS amazing.

Sketchup had something like it... much much easier for a while but this appears to be the next step. I guess they're going to use that pretty soon.
