Yea,I know the question has been asked a million times, but still...

When do you think it will be released? I mean in a couple of months there will be a year since the announcements and demos of unreal engine 4.
Personally,I want it because they replaced unreal script with the good old c++....and...i don't think i have to mention the other new features,if you haven't seen them yet, here you go:

When did they announce that?

They announced it at E3 2012 when they first unveiled that Elemental Demo. It's one of the reasons why a lot of people have been asking if they should start building a game with the UDK knowing their Unreal Script stuff will have to be rewritten.

On Topic: I think it's going to be released once they launch Fortnite. Problem is, that game has been M.I.A. for awhile now. I don't expect UDK4 (don't know what to call it) to be coming until at least this time next year.

Huh. I must have missed that totally. That's pretty groovy.

No, Groovy has more ties with Java actually :P

It would probably be a stupid ideea to start working on a game with unreal script since next year(that's what everyone is speculating) they will release the next version.

It depends. Does the current Unreal Engine work fine? You don't have to switch to a brand new version in the middle of a project - you can wait until you finish your existing project before switching.
