I have been a member of this site since 2000. I don't post much, mostly read articles and look for help on whatever I am working on. But I have been seeing a lot of chatter about this Full Sail university. It is very expensive for my taste but might help with rounding out and helping shape my years of a hobbyist programmer.
Anyone get their money's worth out of this place?
Anyone here been to Full Sail Online University/Classes?
i usually wouldnt go to these for-profit/online school man. First of all they cost a couple of kidneys to attend, and most arent accredited. If you really want to test your skills why not take some night time computer science classes at ur local community college? It'll be fun to amaze/own the kiddies with your leet coding skills.
Although I think a local college may be worthwhile, spending all your dough on an online course may not be. Theres like thousands of programming resources on the web that offer the same quality.
I believe I've learned more from thenewboston, than I would have from any of those online schools.

Also I want to add is that you can take high-end computer science classes online at stanford university for free.
You wont get a letter grade or credit but you will get a certification of completion. Im betting u can show this certificate to any university/college and they will probably let you skip the course.

I cannot remember the books I've read any more than the meals I have eaten; even so, they have made me.

To add to these:
Coursera has a good deal of free courses from a wide arrange of universities. Some offer certificates some don't but it's a good resource either way. Here is a link to the site: https://www.coursera.org/
