Designing microtransactions in 2D platformer
I'm working on a 2D platformer and I plan to have a store where you can buy DLC levels, and weapons, and possibly character customizations and similar stuff. My problem though is that I need to figure out what else I can monetize without ruining the core gameplay and turning it into a freemium/F2P game. I need to be able to make around $30 per 200 or so active users to pay for the database hosting costs.
