Windows 8: Here We Go Again - LOL
There are people testing the Windows 8 OS on a trial basis and I read the rumors flying about how Microsoft is going to "monopolize windows gaming" and so forth. About a half - dozen or more raw, uncooked rumors swirl about every preview release of a new Windows OS. "They're gonna shut-out the competition," and so forth types of rumors fly every day in website discussions at this stage.
People claim to quote Bill Gates as saying something like, "PCs are not made for gaming," or whatever, even if it is true or not. Now they are saying that the next OS will only allow games that use Microsoft stuff... "Microsoft stuff will be made available in the OS by default.... Microsoft store only... " yadda, yadda, yadda.... blah, blah, blah...
I like Win 7 and surely will be impressed with Win 8, though I must admit that I would like to try the latest OS X and a nice shiny Mac, too.
Hee-Hee... I wonder how this thread will go? (Please keep it civil, okay?)

Personal life and your private thoughts always effect your career. Research is the intellectual backbone of game development and the first order. Version Control is crucial for full management of applications and software. The better the workflow pipeline, then the greater the potential output for a quality game. Completing projects is the last but finest order.
