Hi!,

I have been using this tool (bmGlyph http://www.bmglyph.com/) to create fonts from apple machines, but now, I'm on windows and need a program with same / more features. The main features about this program is the possibility of give a grandient color and apply a texture to each glyph. Could anybody recommend something like this for windows?
Thanks in advance.

In my opinion, bmGlyph is the best among its type.

There 's a tiny software called SpriteFont (http://www.nubik.com/SpriteFont/) that works on Windows, supports some effects (blurring, glowing, outlining, ...) but not as far as texture-modifying (the GUI is cool, though).

Maybe you can still make it with a little help of Photoshop or similar programs, after publishing your font sprite...

Hope you find it helpful happy.png

Hi,

GIMP, maybe best served with one of the many third party plug-ins, would allow you to do all of that.

Personal life and your private thoughts always effect your career. Research is the intellectual backbone of game development and the first order. Version Control is crucial for full management of applications and software. The better the workflow pipeline, then the greater the potential output for a quality game. Completing projects is the last but finest order.

i can not speak of it's quality, or capability's. but i've seen this from angelcode.com, perhaps it'll present itself as a suitable replacement?
