this time i wanted to make a tool for all of those online game creators.
this one called AdvUpdater. it basically an updater for games just like most of the MMORPG games are used.
What it does/how does it works?
Answer:
if you release a game version, share with everyone.
then you go and fix or add more stuff into your game. how you gonna share the new version of the game again?
are you gonna send the file over and over again to players?
NOT ANYMORE! this tool does everything for you! as a game creator, you define a hot folder for your media. those files will be all synced with my advupdater tool. this tool also creates a Launcher for your games.
This launcher has a LINK of your hot folder. so when a random user executes the launcher, all the media files will be synced with him.
no matter how many updates you will make, you wont need to create the launcher over and over again for every update. its enough only ONCE at the begining.
and few features about the launcher:
the uploading is very smart. it can check for new files automatically, downloading media files in speed of x5 files in same time! wich makes the download extremely fast!
also, you are able to select an exe to execute it after the launcher ends his updates.
the system is pretty sweet, i made it all my self.
