Depends what distribution you''re after. If you want Mandrake, go for www.mandrake.com, if it''s Debian you''re after, use www.debian.com, sensing a pattern here?

Depends on the distribution, your location, and your isp.

I include ISP because for 2 connections of equal speed on diff isp''s, some sites will be faster for one than on the other (in my experiences anyway).

Not true my old friend, I''ve been using tucows since I don''t remember when. I even used it back when Linuxberg.com was a totally seperate web site... Just wanted to let you know you weren''t the only one using Tucows. I do too... So that makes 2 of us at least...
