I just downladed all the DirectX header and library files. Now is that all i need to start programming with directX. If not can someone else please tell me what else i need to download. I have a slow connection 28.8 with a 56k modem sux doesn''t it. My dad can get it for me on a T1 and burn it for me if there is more and it is too big for me to download. Thanks a bunch. node_5r

Techincally I think that''s all you need, but you have to put it in the right directories There might also be some registry entries that the setup program for the SDK sets up (I know it gives you a nice icon in the control panel with a bunch of controls)
If you have access to a T1 and a cd burner you''d be much better off making a CD of the SDK so you can get the Documentation and samples.
