I've been reading several books/pdf-s about collision detection but most of them are full physics and or very simple collisions that i dont need. What I need is an method to find the highest Y point under players of all objects around them, what i want to approach is something like other RPGs have like Skyrim or WoW, where you can walk around hundreds of solid objects w/o any lagg as objects i mean static models with more than 200 triangles.
