After finding little information I am hesitant to tell them to just go for it and was wondering if anyone had any information regarding them or had heard of them before?

Bugger all information available via the net and yet

. No idea what the rort is but my advice is simple. If it sounds to good to be true then it probably isn't.

It smells fishy to me.

I don't see why any game company would need to hire external low level QA. It's usually pretty easy to find local people who will do the same thing in the control of your own office. I'd be very suspicious.

If I had to guess, I'd say it's some crowdsourcing operation for botting or spam-like stuff.

This was on another forum:

I've seen this type of internet marketing scam before.
Basically the guy who is running the scam gets paid every time someone registers to play the game.
It's basically lead generation that he's doing for 2 different companies.

If you click on the Forsaken World link from the e-mail
& scroll down they do have a careers page
if you are serious about doing it.

Hope this helped.[/quote]

Gah missed that one -- Caught the one dissolving the new zealand one instead >< - my bad
Thanks for all the replies, it did sound too good to be true which is why I was wary of it.

Convinced my friend to give it a miss and continue his search elsewhere.
