Gah missed that one -- Caught the one dissolving the new zealand one instead >< - my bad

I think the moral of the story is DON'T NAME YOUR COMPANY ZYON MEDIA.

As a rule of thumb: anything "work from home" is a scam.
I wouldn't go quite so far in general, because this would classify my wife's work (who earns a lot more than me, and likely a lot more than you, too) as scam. Though you are right insofar as most jobs that are primarily advertised as "work from home" are scams.

Plus, any company that

  • has a name that sounds almost exactly like an existing company (Zylom in this case)

    or

    • is "international" or "world leader" and you've not heard from them before

      or

      • makes an offer that is unbelieveably good

        or

        • is not a company founded in 1735 that targets exclusively 75 year olds and does not have an accessible website with an imprint and a street address

          is almost certainly a scam.

Thanks for all the replies, it did sound too good to be true which is why I was wary of it.

Convinced my friend to give it a miss and continue his search elsewhere.

Tell your friend to read FAQ 5 and FAQ 24 on my website http://sloperama.com/advice.html

And tell your friend he needs to learn how to post his own questions on online forums. If he can't post his own questions, he's not ready to enter the game industry.
