Dairy Queen.
Well I'm not sure what qualifies, but here in South Africa I would have to say Subway. I mean we get stuff like McDonalds and KFC here too (though it might taste different, I dunno), I really can't say I'm a fan. That stuff makes me feel very tired and sometimes ill after I eat it, especially when I was training up to 18 hours a week. subway doesn't make me feel like that :)

Though as I understand it, fast food in the US is very cheap while restaurants are far more expensive? The prices are more even here and so there's just much less incentive to eat fast food.

Only people in North Carolina would know this place but by far CookOut is the best! However, I use to work there so I know a little too much about their less than sanitary food preparation... wacko.png
meanwhile, in malaysia...

(that's KFC).
Belgian Fries with a Bicky Burger and a Frikandel Special.

Belgian Fries

How are these different from the standard french fry?

They're baked in a Belgian Frietkot.

Gotta agree with this one. Cheap, quick, delicious, and I can order something that won't kill me.
Taco Bell (regular hard shell tacos) and McDonalds (fries, and chocolate shakes are amazing) are my favorite. Wendy's has good chicken nuggets/tender things and their shakes are alright, but too thick.

Not much can beat McDonalds though for their breakfast menu. So many good choices.
Unfortunately we don't have Wendy's here in Germany :(

When I'm going for really fast food though it will be Burger King. The 99ers are hard to beat.

The food place I miss the most in the states is Rosa's Cafe and Tortilla factory in Midland, TX.
Don't know if it is a local thing though. Their tortillas where so good. aaah
