Hi all,
I'm in the last stages of finishing a game-development tool after many years of development and wonder if anyone would be kind enough to help me by taking a survey, especially if you use Unity3D.
The link is http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/XX8787D
10 questions in all so should be quick.
Thanks for the help.
Unity3D Survey
I don't use Unity3D, but I do have a very specific issue for why I don't that might be relevant and I didn't want to skew your survey with it.
I don't understand why the people at Unity haven't leveraged their engine to support 2D games/apps more robustly. I would be all over a 2D version of Unity. I'm aware you can make a pseudo 2D game in Unity currently, but it's both more difficult and kind of hacky compared to the potential of a totally 2D version of Unity. Given the number of mobile games that are 2D only it seems like an opportunity is being wasted.

Hi and thanks for the comment.
I'm very happy to hear that because I've spent a lot of effort on the 2d features and plan to pitch the app heavily in this area.

I did the survey but I had a problem answering #10:
10. If our new product were available today, how likely would you be to recommend it to others?
That would really depend on what you were offering, you might want to clarify or revise that question...imagine the same question being asked about a new car that you had no info about..

"Like all good things, it starts with a monkey.."
